A beginning pilot in the field will make between $13 and $22 per hour. Most pilots use crop-dusting to accumulate hours rather than pursue it as a career. Pilots who own their planes can sub-contract per job, so the rate would vary, depending on the size of the job, but they average $25,000 annually. The work is seasonal.

It varies a lot as you would expect. From a low of $20,000 per year up to perhaps $75,000. That's if someone else owns the plane.
