Will mupirocin heal an infected eyebrow piercing?

Yes, it's good for bacterial infections. Be careful using it near your eye, wash the affected area, and apply a thin layer three times a day for one to two weeks.

Mupirocin is generic name for Bactroban. It is usually used for skin infections like impetigo and traumatic skin lesions. Use topically (on the skin). Watch for reactions like burning, rash, pus and redness. If these occur, discontinue and notify your healthcare professional.Important to clean area before application. Should be effective.
