Why am I getting unwanted noise from my radio?

My auto is a GM.

AM/FM waves sometimes interfer with each other in high frequency areas and bounce off of each other and are accepted by differing radio stations. It could also be that your frequency reciever is damaged or the radio is malfunctioning due to age or loose connection.

Well you are probably having some type of interference from some electrical components. Check to make sure that all your radio wires are in good shape and no connectors are loos. Make sure you have solid grounds and nothing is tapped into your radios circuit.

It can be a bad ground connection at the radio. Or generater-noise, whitch can be solved by installing a condensator
