Maslow was a psychologist. He did establish "Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs." The hierachy was represented as a triangle, with the broadest leg at the bottom. Maslow listed the human's needs on this triangle from the most basic at the bottom (food, shelter) to the most sublime at the top.

Abraham Maslow was an American professor of psychology who founded humanistic psychology and established the hierarchy of needs, which was fully explained in his book "Motivation and Personality".
