In many of the major cities, Chicago as an example, you can change foreign money at some banks or travel agencies. You could also go online and change your money.

Whenever you are traveling and need to change currencies, you can usually get change at the airport, the hotel you are staying, or a local bank. I have found that the local bank generally offers the best exchange rates. Just know that you may sometimes run across a language barrier.

You can try to go to some money changers that accept currencies aside from US dollar. Though some might have a minimum amount that you have to change. Other money changers don't really accept coins whatever the currency is. Other option is to go to bank which you can have a greater chance of getting your dinar to be changed.

You should go to a currency exchange or go back to the country and see if anyone wants to trade their money with you.
