Where can I find a freelance job? Are there special sites for people who work on their own?

You need to first identify what you can do well. After that it's simply a case of using a search engine and following the links, lots of people blog on this topic and can point you in the direction of the genuine sites.

A freelance job is, by definition, a job you create for yourself. If you are a writer, then you contract independently with several companies to provide technical writing or whatever they need. There are websites with freelance jobs but it is also good to make personal contact with local companies.

Yes, there are many sites that list freelance work. Many times it's for writers, researchers, and web designers, so if you have these skills you will most likely be able to find work. You can also look on the large employment sites and narrow down your search to just freelance positions. Make sure you do your research, too.
