White nail polish should never be worn on its own. It is only acceptable as tips to a french manicure.

First, make sure your nails are well-painted. White polish risks looking like white-out if your manicure is streaky or chipped. Because white is an unusual nail color, think of it as a statement rather than a neutral. Geometric/graphic patterns in simple color combinations would work well. Think polka dots, sailor stripes, 60's mod prints, etc.

If you are wearing white nail polish I would go for a far-out look. An outstanding black and white outfit just might be able to pull of such a feat!

You can wear white nail polish with anything you want, although some would argue that white nail polish should be left to French tips only.
