There are several factors in determining a vintage guitars value. The model and condition are key factors. Next is the would be purchaser a collector,Or player? Gibson are prone to headstock repairs.This would be unacceptable for a collector, And not command top$.while a player would be content to own it.

It's most certainly going to depend on the make and the condition of the guitar. If the guitar isn't in such great condition, then don't expect more than a couple hundred dollars for it. If it's in mint condition with original parts, you could have a guitar that's worth well over $10,000!

It all depends on the model of the guitar. The condition is greatly important. If theres even a small scratch, the value will decrease. If you have a Gibson that was played by a famous person then the value will go up greatly. I suggest trying eBay or amazon to get a price.
