A 1945 penny is pretty common and willnot be worth a great deal of money. Even in mint condition, these pennies will not typically sell for more than $.25 each.

Just because a coin is old doesn't mean it has value. A penny is still a penny regardless of year. If you're still not convinced it's virtually valueless. You can take it to an on the road antique show, they generally price and appraise items like this for free and they tend to be very accurate, and-are credible.

The 1945 penny is very common and is probably worth less than twenty five cents with any wear at all. However, if it is in mint condition it can be worth more than five dollars with an 'S' imprinted on it and more than two dollars with a 'D' or nothing printed on it.
