The best thing to do if you harbor secret feelings for your boss is to let it go. If you tell him how you feel it would be totally inappropriate. He may see you as unprofessional and terminate you from your job. If you cannot hold your feelings inside then it would be best if you found another job.

If he doesn't know it's probably best to keep it that way. Romantic relationships have a very different dynamic than boss/employee relationships, and it just doesn't mesh well. Even if it was mutual feelings it wouldn't be a good idea to pursue it. If you choose to do something about it, have something else lined up job-wise as backup.
