A viral infection of the skin and mucous membranes. Found on trunk, arms and legs. Often sexually transmitted, skin to skin and sharing items. Treatment unnecessary as it's not effective.

mulluscum contagiosum is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the pox virus. Most people are familiar with chicken pox and this disease is visible as a rash as well. It is transferable with any skin on skin contact.

This viral skin infection, spread through skin to skin contact, is most commonly found in young children below the age of ten. It can occasionally be caught from infected objects like towel s or clothing, with an average incubation period of between two and six weeks.
