When you burn your skin, then that region will get infected by bacteria and a virus. So, white blood cells (antibodies) in your body will now be set into action. Actually, pus is formed when white blood cells gather around the site of infection to fight off the bacteria. Pus is the byproduct of the process.

Pus is white fluid with wbc's,cellular materials. whenever there is a wound, first it bleeds and then pus gets accumulated in the injured site and it bulges. So when it breaks the pus oozes out and then it turns into a scar. It is sign of recovery. But please dont scratch or pinch the wound.
