First, ask yourself why you missed the salat. If your intention was to pray at the appointed time you will be rewarded as if you had actually prayed.

In Islam, there is no excuse for missing Salat. However, later Ulema's have said that it is best to make up for those missed Salat's anyway, thus the "Qada" Salah.
