Dillards Inc is the proud owner of Dillards Stores. Started in 1938 by William Dillard the chain has grown to one of the largest names in the fashion retail industry. The company currently has 320 stores in 29 states.
The Dillard franchise is a spin off of the Sears corporation. They are marketed as a competitor of Sears to pull in more customers, but the franchises are directly linked.
