The end stage of cancer means that the cancer would have metastasized or spread to the other organs throughout the body and only palliative care is given. The pain and exhaustion increases during this stage hence palliative sedation is provided to the patients to keep them comfortable.

There is a lot of pain but medication helps. Fatigue is great and the patient sleeps more. The appetite isn't very good.

Because the end stage of cancer involves it having spread throughout the body, it is typically very painful. It can also be debilitating as the body fails.
