Do's: The investigating officer before arresting a citizen must satisfy himself that a prima facie case is made. Don'ts: Narrate truth to investigating authority otherwise you would be in trouble.
If a citizen is arrested it must be inform his relatives as early as possible. Gather all his personal informations. Do not beat him. Treat him as good citizen before punishing him.
Do- co-operate with police, give them respect, ask them to contct your lawyer, respond to police in presence of lawyer
Don'ts- never oppose arrest, don't allow police toproceed without warrent
