Common yard animals can range from earthworms, various insects, and spiders. Anyone can have those. You might also see snakes and lizards if you live in an area warm enough. Since deer are seen, you could see some fox, both red and grey, and some bobcat. A person could even see cougar or wolf or bear.

You can find all sorts of wild animals, from various species of birds to rabbits to squirrels. I have seen raccoons, snakes, lizards, and frogs.

You could also find in my yard a mama bear and her cubs, elk, possums and mountain goats, skunks and raccoons.

Here in Arizona we have seen coyotes, red fox, javalina, raccoons, and lots of birds. One of our neighbors had a bob cat on their porch.
