Many Health Insurance companies will exclude people with certain pre-existing health conditions or will impose a waiting period or charge higher premiums. To save money, some Insurers will not accept pregnant women joining their scheme. Medicaid, a federal-funded program for people with low income, will accept women who are already pregnant.

No. Pregnancy is usually completely covered by Medicaid and is not a reason for Medicaid to reject your claim. There is a special program in Medicaid for pregnancy called Sobra.

Medicaid covers pregnancy regardless of when you became pregnant. This assumes, of course, that you meet the income guidelines for receiving medicaid benefits. Medicaid will also cover your child for the first year after birth.

Pregnancy should not be considered a preexisting condition. There are also other programs that help with costs. Such programs can be found at a local health care clinic.

Medicaid is federally-funded & STATE-MANAGED health-care for low-income-recipients, so it depends on your state's regulations. Besides the "low-income" requirement; generally, pregnancy is one of several possible Medicaid-eligibility-requirements. "Pregnancy" can be a pre-existing condition which is COVERED by Medicaid; pre-existing conditions like pregnancy are EXCLUDED from most other health-coverage/insurance plans.
