The Eye of Ra symbol, is sometimes portrayed as the left eye but is more generally represented as the right eye. With Ra being the Egyptian sun god,the eye is associated with the sun. Representing the destructive force of the heat of the sun (masculine). The other eye is the Eye of Horus and is associated with the moon (feminine).

The Eye of RA represents the right eye of the Egyptian Falcon God Horus. It represents the Sun and was associated with the Sun God Ra.

The eye of Ra (or Horus) is a protection symbol. In Wicca it is used as a general protective symbol, but traditionally it symbolizes protection from Ra, or Horus.

The Eye of Ra is symbolized as a right eye, and is often associated with the sun. The story goes that Horus and Seth fought over the murder of their father, Osiris. Horus ended up losing an eye. Wiccans believe that the Eye of Ra offers protection against evil spirits.
