Plant's symbol, of a feather in a circle, was taken from the ancient Mu civilization. Page adopted the "ZOSO" looking symbol, though no one knows what this means. Bonham's symbol is 3 interlocking circles, representing a man/woman/child. Jones' symbol is 3 ovals interlocking a circle.

There are four symbols which are based on ancient runes. There are 3 circles laid out in a triangle overlapping, a feather in a circle, a circle with a three leaf intertwined and a letter zoso in a italic design.

Refer to their 1971 album, which has four symbols that each member chose. One symbol has three interlocking circles. Another has a feather within a circle.

Led Zeppelin's fourth album, 1971, carries four symbols, one for each band member. The first stands for Jimmy Page and appears to spell "ZOSO". That's a good tattoo.
