If a car is in my name can it be taken by a judgment?

It is unlikely that your car will be seized. It is possible that a lien can be placed on the vehicle. Creditors prefer to attach wages and bank accounts.

Depending on the judgement the judge can indeed award your car to the person getting the judgement. For instance if someone wins a monetary award against you but you have no money he can gives that person something of equal value to the judgement. However if there are two peoples name on the car then he cant.

Your car is a viable asset. If it is paid for, yes, it can be seized. Even if not, it is still an asset and could be subject to seizure.

If you are directly liable for any injustices or violations that would result in you being liable to another person than the answer is yes. If someone else is liable for damages and you are not at fault then your assets cannot be seized for a judgement.
