Question by  Robert (20)

Will bankruptcy remove a judgment from your credit?

I had two judgments showing on my credit report and then filed for bankruptcy, I want to know if I still need to be concerned about the judgments.

The judgments will still show up on your credit report for seven years after they were decided. However, they cannot be collected after bankruptcy.

It should remove the judgments, but now instead of having two judgments on your credit report you will have a bankruptcy filing on your report. Give it a few months after your bankruptcy has been discharged and then pay to see your credit scores. If they are still on there contact the lawyer who did your case.
