If this is the 1937-d type the this nickel can be worth up to $5000 and the lowest I have seen it is $700, This depends on the condition and type it is. The smallest prints like beard shape will play a factor in putting a value on this. The best way is to take it to an appraiser.

The 1937-D 3 legged Buffalo Nickel is incredibly rare. You need to be extremely careful however, many counterfeits of this error have been made over the years by removing one of the buffalo's legs. You need to take a closer inspection of it.
