You can often find buffalo meat at your local supermarket in the meat section (Vons, Ralph's). There are some health food stores that sell buffalo meat such as Whole Foods.

Some grocery stores are starting to carry buffalo meat, but if you have tried those and failed, your best bet is to try a local meat shop if you live somewhere near farms. Otherwise, try ethnic stores, or shops like Whole Foods that are likely to have more ethnic foods.

Buffalo meat is becoming more popular as it is leaner then beef as well as being higher in protein, and many people prefer the taste. It is available in many grocery stores. If your local store doesn't have it available, ask them to carry it, visit a specialty food store, or shop for it online.

Most grocery stores not carry buffalo meat. I get in our grocery store fresh. I use it in chili and meatloaf. It's little sweeter taste and is less in fat.
