There are lots of species of Forsythia, and without knowing which one you've got it is difficult to be precise. The most common varieties top out between seven and ten feet tall (and the same wide), but dwarf varieties may only reach a maximum of three feet. Rare exceptions, however, may grow a lot taller in good conditions.

It entirely depends on the species of the plant. Many can get as large as 8' to 10'. Other miniture versions can be small, compact and under a foot tall.
