Well if it was refilled or charge by a professional then it should have bee filled to the right PSI. If it was filled with too much pressure then chances are it has ruined the seals in the system and will probably leak. You could probably check the pressure by attaching a gauge to each side of the refrigerant line.

The only way to tell the pressure in your system is with a qualified mechanic and a set of gauges that tell the difference in you pressures
