Find a book that you can research and use for a field guide. Find insects in gardens, around water, in fields, etc. Study the insect and remember insects have six legs and arachnids have eight. Notice the surrounding where you find them. Midday brings out a lot but evening and nighttime will provide mosquitos, moths, and other flying insects. Research!

You can identify flying insects by seeing if they have wings or no wings. A flying insect will have wings.
