Knees may hurt anytime when there is sudden change of the weather from warm to cold and it is caused by rheuma. You may treat it with analgetics such as NSAIDs, but not if you experience ulcer due to it may cause bleeding from the stomach.

Chances are you have arthritis, or fibromyalgia which is a form of arthritis in your knees. A doctor can diagnose this.

The coldness in the air from the rain makes knees that have never hurt before or aches and pains that you normally have start acting up. I blame it on the cold, if you use a heating pad or thermal sticky pad on your knee it should feel better soon.

Especially if you are older, joint pain is common when it rains. The change in barometric pressure is felt in the bones and adjusts how joints fit together and function. If you are overweight or climb steps a lot, it may also be more noticable. It is OK to take Tylenol if the pain is unbearable.
