If your laptop is having problems with power, go to "Power Management" and change the settings there. There are several settings that can help.

If a laptop won't charge, it could be a variety of things. The connector on the back of the laptop that the power plugs in could have got shorted out. Also a new battery last about 500 charges, after the initial 500, it will get less and less power. In the winter make sure you bring your laptop in.

The reason your laptop may not charge could be because of the outlet you're using, because of a chord shortage or your computer's battery may be used all up, batteries are no longer good after about 3 or 4 years.
