Can you help me troubleshoot an av receiver?

Not sure what issues you are having, but I had some issues with our surround sound and our video quality. Have you tried to run the video directly to the tv without passing through the receiver? Some receivers give signal degradation; which was my issue.

Double check and make sure that you have everything wired correctly. If you have recently added a new component to your system it may be conflicting with your receiver. Try unhooking it and trying to run your receiver through something else. It may also be helpful to read the user manual for your receiver.
