There aren't many factories that are open to the general public. Most name brand general stores like Wal Mart, K Mart and others sell cloth and textiles and are readily available for all.

There are numerous textile factories in the United States. Some of these companies are very small and perhaps have only one person working for them while there are some that create a lot of clothing on a regular basis. There are different regional associations that promote different companies in their area.
