Parvo is a virus that will destroy the lining of the animals stomach. Vinegar will not kill the virus. You need to have your dogs vaccinated, keep areas free of animal excrement and away from other dogs if its not been vaccinated. There are no natural remedies for controlling Parvovirus

Parvo is a viral disease spread between dogs. Neither vinegar, or any natural remedy has been shown to effect the Parvo virus. A vaccination is the only prevention.

The parvo virus is very stable in the environment and is resistant to most disinfectants. Vinegar will not kill parvo, but bleach can.

No. Vinegar will not kill this virus. You need to go have your animal treated at the vet. Without proper treatment parvo will destroy the lining of your animal's stomach.

Vinegar will not kill parvo. Parvo is a heart condition in dogs and it has nothing to do with vinegar.

No. The only way to kill parvo is to use bleach. Get a spray bottle, fill it with water, and add a cap full of bleach to it. Spray every surface you think might have been contaminated, until it is damp. Wipe or let air dry. Toss and replace all toys, beds, and dishes. The virus dies in ONE YEAR.

Bleach is not the only way to kill parvo. If it was then every vet hospital would use it instead of other disinfectants like Roccal or parvokill.  add a comment

It is a product that does many wonderful things. However, for something as serious as parvo I would veto the idea. All reasearch indicated either using bleach through the entire infected area and/or tossing what you can. Your vet would be of assistance and using professional carpet cleaners is recommended.
