Will removing the airbag fuse in a Jeep Wrangler disable the airbag?

The way a fuse works is that it creates a removable link in an electrical circuit. It is constructed so that it fail if the current or volts exceed a certain amount to keep major component from being damage. So if a fuse is removed then the circuit is disconnected and the system won't function.

It is always a good rule of thumb to disconnect battery before working on or near the air bag, Or any of its compents, Such as it's fuses. So you have no problems arise

If you do remove this fuse then it probably will end up disabling your air bag. You will need to make sure this fuse is in when you decide to drive.
