No its not compatible. MS office 2007 and higher versions are only supported by vista 32. To make MS office 2000 or 2003 compatible registry changes should be made.

Yes, Microsoft Office 2000 will work with Vista 32 (x86). Word, Excel and Powerpoint will work and have no known issues. But you may encounter some compatibility issues with outlook.

Probably but performance will be poor, not to mention compatibility issues with new documents. You'd be better off installing a recent version of OpenOffice for Windows, since it will be more current and it is free.

Yes, it will work with vista. Just try to install it and see if it works. It worked fine for some of my friends. If it does not work you can try to get open office. It is a free program. If you want Microsot Word, then you will want to install the 2007 version.

Yes it is supported on vista. Testing has be done to verify that it will run. Since office 2000 is in extended support they will not fix any problems that might arise.

It surely will, as well as any other Microsoft application. All new Microsoft operating systems are made to be backwards compatible with all Office suites.

Yes, Microsoft Office 2000 works with Windows Vista 32. I am currently running it on the 64 bit version of Vista so it should work with the 32 bit version as well. I've had no issues with installing or using these products together.

yes it does but office 2007 is better. Its better because it has a new easier interface and you can save files as the old versions for older computers

Most of it will work, but there are some issues, for example with Microsoft Outlook. For Windows Vista it is recommended to use at least Office 2003.

My guess is YES! Since Microsoft Office 2000 can essentially run on a 32bit system. It's very apparent that it will run on Vista 32.

It should work because they are both Microsoft created programs. Although the office 2000 suite is a bit old, when you run in compatibility mode you should have no problem to access all your Office 2000 applications. However i recommend you invest in a new Office version because this one is obsolete.
