It depends on the guy and how much he cares for you. But eventually, any man will get tired of beinghurt and change things to make it stop. Now it is up to you about how you want to treat him in the future.

In a word Yes! But this in not the way to get rid of him. (if that is what you wanted to do) If it is by mistake then think about what you are doing.

He will absolutely get tired of a person who continually hurts him. He deserves better and will realize it eventually.
