Why would I put coasters under my furniture?

Coasters under the legs of furniture prevent it from scratching the floor. Some tables have sharp heavy legs, and if the table moves at all, it can cause scratches on wood floors that would be difficult to fix. Also, if one leg of a table is slightly shorter, putting a coaster under that leg will even it out.

This is to prevent the legs of making marks in the carpet or the hardwood floor. The coaster come in all sizes and you won't notice them. It also prevents them scratching the floor if you move the furniture around. Yes, I have them on wood floors.
