While engine noise can come from a variety of sources and could be potentially very serious, most commonly loud noises come from lack of or dirty oil. Is it time for a tune up or oil change? See your dealer for a complete diagnosis.

Well noise is a good indicator that you have some problems. Have a mechanic take a look at it. He should be able to diagnose the problem for you.

Without hearing the sound or knowing more about the vehicle I can't say. You should have a trained mechanic check it out. They should be able to diagnose it for you and suggest a solution.

If it sounds like a knocking you probably have a throw rod or the piston is knocking. You will probably need a new engine. Knocking is a hard fix and you will be without a car for about a month.

This could be due to a multitude of issues, first check the fluids in the engine. make sure the noise is coming from the engine. Bring it in to toyota.
