Why is it that I run four times a day and am not losing weight?

Sometimes we hit a plateau and despite the effort, fail to lose weight. Your body may have gotten used to the running routine and it is no longer challenging to your muscles. To continue losing weight, you need to change up your routine and try something different.

It is possible that you are working out so hard your body has lowered its metabolism in an effort to conserve energy for your exertions.

If you run four times a day, it's probably because you are in a state of overtraining, and your body is hoarding everything it can. You need to only run once or twice a day, and get plenty of sleep. Also, if you eat too much, exercise won't help.

It depends on how far you're running, and also, what you are eating, drinking, etc. If you are running a lot, and eating properly, you should lose weight.
