Why does my horse keep pulling his front shoe off?

I would talk to my farrier and have him look at the horses hoof to see if there is a problem. Your horse may need a corrective shoe.

As the horse is walking he is overstepping with his hind leg and it is coming down right behind the foreleg, it is called clipping. Use different shoes.

Horses sometimes tread on the heels of the front foot with the rear foot. The tip of the rear shoe can tug the heel of the front shoe.

Horses can be very ornery. Try using bell boots on the hooves hes messing with. Also consult a vet. There are many factors in a horse pulling shoes off.
