Your kitten could be teething. However, if you cannot actually see new teeth coming in, your kitten may have a respiratory infection; you should take it to your veterinarian.

Drooling is generally caused by excess production of saliva. or the kitten have problems with swallowing. Also maybe there is an inability to swallow the saliva. Because it is kitten the main cause might be that she has problems with teething, and it doesn't mean that it is associated with some diseases.
