Antifreeze damages the kidneys, is broken down into toxins by the liver, and may cause central nervous system damage. The dog should be taken to a vet immediately.

Antifreeze is very toxic and it can kill both humans and pets alike. Dogs like the antifreeze because I have been told by my vet is is very sweet tasting. When they lick this, even small amounts, of this toxin can kill your pet.
