Why do people use a 10 cc syringe?

I found some in my bathroom.

If the needle is small (about half an inch) and thinner than a sewing needle, it's probably for insulin. Larger can be for other drugs, but sometimes for applying glue.

They might be used for several purposes, and not only injection of medications, but that's their primary purpose. Drug addicts also use them. But, they can be used for tooth hygiene, or anything that requires small amount of liquid to be inserted. Also, kids may use them as a toy.
