Well, some people do have fears of teachers as well as all kinds of professions. Many fears are based in some kind of negative experience. it could have been a traumatic experience as a child, remembering the fear of needles, or closely related to doctors being in hospitals, which remind people of their own mortality.

Doctors cause pain with shots starting at a very early age, giving repeatedly painful vaccinations when one is healthy. They prescribe foul tasting medicines as well when we are sick. Thus they cause unpleasantness any time you are there.
