Do you consume a lot of spice or soda? If not, try taking some vinegar to help your body digest and not need to produce so much acid.

There are many possible causes - taking in air when eating, drinking fizzy drinks, even stress in the body which causes the muscles to tense up.

I have acid reflux, and if you have constant heartburn, then you have it, too. Acid reflux simply means that the acid in the stomach is being pushed back up into the esophagus, where it doesn't belong. Your stomach has a lining that protects it from the acid, but your esophagus does not, and hence the burning sensation.
