You should probably pay attention to what you are eating. Some foods cause more gas than others. Also, if your bloating becomes painful or is detrimental to your life you should probably go see a doctor to make sure that you aren't suffering from anything that you wouldn't have been able to fix yourself.

What you eat will play a larger role than how much you eat. Try eating some foods with dietary, or soluble, fiber in it. You might also visit your doctor.

Generally speaking, bloating is a sign of some other underlying condition. Amongst the common ones that could be causing your symptoms - an allergy to a common food product such as wheat, an imbalance in the natural biota of your intestine, or an autoimmune disorder that affects the GI tract.

You may need to decrease your sodium intake by choosing different foods. Salty foods will make you retain water, which can cause a bloated feeling.

The acid in your stomach which digests food expands your stomach when food is digested. Gasses are released from foods and drinks no matter how much you eat, some more than other which is how most foods give off more gas that makes you feel bloated as your body digests.

Bloating can be caused by any number of factors. If you are experiencing bloating with every meal, it may be time to go to a doctor to check for a medical condition (such as an allergy) which may be causing your body to have difficulty digesting food.

When you eat salt, and acid in food causes gases to build up in your stomach and cause you to bloat.

I get bloated every time I eat because I suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Food moves very slowly through my digestive system, causing gas to build up.

You are probably eating a died that is high in salt. Salt in your body will hold onto water (water retention) causing you to feel bloated. Even if you do not add additional salt to your food, you should check the nutrition label to see how much sodium prepared foods contain.
