Pain in the shoulder area upon lifting your arm could be caused by a torn or pulled muscle in your arm, shoulder or even back. A more common injury could be that you hare torn or injured your rotator cuff in some manner. If the pain continues then you should seek the advice of a doctor.

There can be several causes for limited upper limb mobility. It is possible that you have injured your shoulder in some way. It is also possible that you are having a stroke. In any event, you should see a doctor, as they are the only people who can properly diagnose such a condition.

Tendonitis is a condition where the tendons in the rotator cuff become inflamed when they are overused, such as playing tennis or playing other sports such as baseball! Baseball players do damage a lot of times to their shoulders because of repeatedly throwing a baseball!
