Igor Stravinsky wrote the music, but not the libretto, for the opera The Rake's Progress. It is an opera in three acts and an epilogue. The libretto was written by W.H. Auden and Chester Kallman. The opera is based on the series of eight paintings by William Hogarth called The Rake's Progress.
