The 1970 Pittsburgh Steeler roster included Terry Bradshaw, Terry Hanratty, John Fuqua, Ron Shanklin, Dave Smith, Dennis Hughes, Hubie Bryant, Mel Blount, Jon Staggers, Preston Pearson, Lee Calland, Chuck Allen, Dick Arndt, Fred Barry, Mean Joe Greene, L. C. Greenwood, Gene Mingo, Lloyd Voss, Ralph Wenzel and Clarence Washington among others.

Hall of Famers include Terry Bradshaw QB, Mel Blount CB, and of course Joe Greene DT. Other notables include Bob Adams TE, Dick Arndt DT, Chuck Beatty DB, Chuck Allen and Henry Davis LB, Kenny Graham DB, and Allan Watson K. RB's were Terry Cole, John Fuqua, and Dick Hoak.
