Plus 8 Records was started in 1990 in Germany by two Canadians, Richie Hawtin and John Acquaviva. Plus 8 Records is truly a global record label, with artists signed from all over the world regardless of their ethnicity or race. Plus 8 Records is not known for one particular sound but an eclectic sound differing from each artist.
