Alamance County is a county in North Carolina in the United States. It was formed in 1849 and is located in the north-central area of North Carolina. It has a population of almost 150,000 people and contains the city of Burlington. It was the location of several battles during the American Revolution.

Alamance County is located in North Caroline in the United States. The county is in the middle of the state near the northern border. Alamance County is great for tourism, business, and to live. The Sissipahaw Indians have early history in Alamance dating back to the early 1700ls. Before it was divided, the historical name was Hillsborough County.
